Ally chats about her epic career which began with starring roles in some of the most iconic films to ever be made - The Breakfast Club, St. Elmo’s Fire, High Art, War Games, to name a few. Ally chats what it was like as a regularly working actress in the 80’s, working with John Hughes, the indie darling High Art, “The Brat Pack”, and how the industry has changed both for women and due to social media throughout the years. Ally discusses what it was like to be the first female to play the epic Hedwig in Hedwig and the Angry Inch and how Broadway differs from TV and movies. Speaking of TV, we gush over her new role as Carole in the brilliant Single Drunk Female.
