Free is the perfect voice for Murderbot, the rogue security unit who would rather just be watching serials, but is protecting its humans — and having a mental breakdown. Free’s depiction of Murderbot’s unresolved mental trauma is harrowing, especially as it digs into its memories to find the possible sources.
