He was diagnosed with a genetic eye disease at an early age that would leave him legally blind. That didn't stop Mark. At age 11, he began writing and went on to have his first radio show with MTV Networks. His journey in music led him to meet many greats, including producer Paul Tubbs Williams who worked with the Spice Girls, and Fred Vail, former producer for the Beach Boys. The Dutch Boy, a nickname earned by Nashville locals, has won multiple Dutch CMA awards, including song of the year and male vocalist.
