In this conversation, Dr. Ashley Carrigan shares her journey into the field of behavior analysis, highlighting her personal experiences and professional aspirations.  We explore Dr. Carrigan’s dissertation research, evaluating the effectiveness of a telehealth parent training intervention melding Acceptance and Commitment Training, Behavior Parent Training and weekly coaching sessions to address selective eating in children.  Dr. Carrigan emphasized the challenges she faced during her research, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic, and the lessons learned throughout her academic journey. She also discusses her current roles in education and community service, her passion for mentoring future behavior analysts, and her strategies for balancing work and family life.
