I had a tremendous time with Virna on the show!

Virna is a professional with extensive experience in behavioral health leadership and operations of primary care integrated care settings federally qualified health centers, community mental health centers and medication assisted treatment programs- as clinician and administrator.

We start the show off by having Virna expressing to us what really motivated her to get into the mental health and addiction field. We also get into the history of the mental health and addiction field a long with the many different changes that have occurred over the years.

In this episode we got into the many different traits that make for a professional mentor in the behavioral health field. We get into discussion on what it takes to be a good and positive leader inspiring the next generation of behavioral health professionals.

We then get into discussion on the many different ways advocacy can benefit all behavioral health providers.
