From the publisher
Before The Tone is a science fiction horror podcast produced by Knave Of Hearts. We follow Mack, a woman who has just gotten a job as a CCTV operator at the increasingly-suspicious Atlas Consulting. It takes the format of voicemails from Mack to her sister, Daria, who never seems to answer her calls. The horror tends towards the psychological as Mack is stalked and reality becomes a little less solid where Atlas is concerned. The science fiction is focused on time and how its fabric can be manipulated. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Spotlight: I Need A Miracle
bonusFor today's feed swap, we are delighted to introduce you to I Need A Miracle, an audio drama where every episode is another character's pleas and prayers to a benevolent and powerful deity knowing their cries may go unanswered. It is unusual and interesting in this strange world. The music is done by Before The Tone sound designer Katie Seaton!Intro transcript:Hello, everyone, it's Anna, the creator of Before The Tone, and today we have something really great coming up in the feed swap category. I Need A Miracle is an audio drama where each episode is a prayer, some prayers are granted, and a granted prayer can upend the world, a world undeniably shaped by the divine. The voices we hear know an omnipotent being is listening, and that omnipotent being is, of course, us, the listening audience who must, in their way, think on whose prayers they would answer as we are, of course, a benevolent god. Though sometimes an absent one. I Need A Miracle has a really similar vibe to Within The Wires stylistically, which I really enjoy. And it also has music by Before The Tone sound designer Katie Seaton, and that's a real treat. I really hope you enjoy the feed swap. They have more episodes out there for you to enjoy if you are looking for another podcast to listen to having just finished Before The Tone.
