We visited Wild Barrel Brewing Company in San Marcos, CA and took home PB & Jam Imperial Pastry Sour Ale 8.4% . We also got to meet the guys from Bartalk3G at Dos Desperados Brewing before we visited Wild Barrel. We traveled to North County San Diego and visited Dos Desperados Brewing and took home Pancha Villa Dos IPA 9%. Rob traveled south of the border to fix his bad back. We visited a new brewery, El Cid Brewing Company. We had every beer on the menu and took home Ask the Chief Khaki Pale Ale 5.5%. We had a vote on which brewery to revisit. It was between Attitude Brewing Company and Helix Brewing Company. Helix won! We revisited Helix and had a great time celebrating their 7-year anniversary. Beer Belly Society got invited to a soft opening at the newest brewery in town, East Village Brewing Company in downtown San Diego. We drank a few delicious beers at the place and met the owners/founders of the brewery and met some other interesting folks. We visited Hannegan's House Beer Company & Creamery and took home Where the Stout has no Name Irish Stout 4.9% and had beer infuse ice cream. We also had two guests, Jio and Nestor, both 21-year old's. We helped these younglings on the way of craft beer and showed them why Tickles ain't no b***h. We visited Deft Brewing and took home Tourmaline Tan English Brown Ale 4.8%. We also had two special guests, the Manager and Enano Del Diablo.
