Numbers 13:1–15:41
Twelve spies are sent to scout the Promised Land—but only two return with faith. The rest spread fear, leading the people to rebel and forfeit their chance to enter. This portion marks a tragic turning point: the generation that left Egypt will now die in the wilderness. Yet even in failure, God offers a path forward through renewed commandments and reminders—like the tzitzit—to keep His vision in front of us. *Shelach-Lekha* teaches that when fear distorts our vision, we lose our inheritance. Faith isn’t about ignoring giants—it’s about trusting the One who overcomes them.
