On December 31, 2019, we learned about an outbreak in Wuhan, China of the coronavirus, a deadly respiratory disease spread from contact with infected persons. As of February 25th, the disease had infected more than 78,000 people in 34 nations. More than 50 Americans are infected. Joining me today to discuss the coronavirus (Covid-19) and how we can protect ourselves from this and other infectious diseases is Dr. Marilyn Singleton.
