Until recently, public school teachers and other public employees were forced to join unions and pay dues to support political agendas diametrically opposed to their core values and principles. That is no longer the case. Public employees now operate in a changed environment that gives them more power when it comes to their unions.
Joining me today is courageous woman who battled the unions and became the plaintiff in a case that eventually reached the U.S. Supreme Court. My guest is Rebecca Friedrichs, the author of Standing Up to Goliath: Battling State and National Teachers' Unions for the Heart and Soul of Our Kids and Country.
