On a storm-lit night in Minnesota, two high school friends parked by a quiet reservoir to watch lightning split the sky. What started as harmless awe turned into something neither of them could explain.
From somewhere beyond the water came the sound of crying.
At first, it was faint. Distant. Easy to dismiss.
But there was no one else there. As the thunder rolled, the sobbing grew louder… closer… like someone wandering blindly through the dark, searching. And whatever it was, it was moving toward them...
