Show Notes
Here is my holiday episode! This year has been tough for a lot of people and the divisive climate we are in as we head into 2025 isn’t going to improve right away. A lot of people I am talking to are feeling less than festive these days and are experiencing a lot of dread and anxiety. So, to try to have a happy holiday and new year I have brought in a professional to
help us.
Peter Bolland is an author and professor of philosophy and humanities at Southwestern College in Chula Vista, California where he has taught world religions, Asian philosophy, world mythology, and ethics for 34 years. I wanted to find out what the world spiritual traditions have to say about peace on earth and good will toward men- especially when we are not feeling
it.
Peter shares his views on ways to handle uncomfortable feelings as well as uncomfortable conversations. This isn’t a “political” episode although we do talk about the current climate we are in. The idea is to try to move forward in times of great division and find ways to access common ground. That is my intent, and I hope it is accepted in that way.
