All week @bbcradiomanc looks at Greater Manchester's links to the cold war. The radio telescope at Jodrell Bank in Macclesfield was the only radar system capable of detecting intercontinental missiles. Sir Bernard Lovell was the leader of the team that built the telescope - Dr Bryan Lovell is his son and has been speaking to Alison Butterworth.
