Show Notes
Bayern Munich closed out its season with a disappointing 4-2 loss in Sinsheim to a very solid Hoffenheim squad.
While the game started out great for Bayern Munich, the Bavarians eventually lost some steam and were overtaken by the home side. It was a sad ending to a hapless (and trophyless) season. Let’s get down to it and see what we have on tap for this episode of the Bavarian Podcast Works — Postgame Show:
- A look at the starting lineup and why it was weird (and probably unnecessary, too).
- How the game played, including the feeling we all had when Bayern Munich blazed its way out to a 2-0 lead in the first six minutes of the match.
- The sinking feeling of watching the team lose its steam in the second half.
- Some thoughts on why it was just time for Thomas Tuchel to leave.
- Addressing the uncertainty of what’s next.
