Bobby Myers is a retired police officer with many years of experience in the Miami area which we get into during this podcast. After a near death experience saving a boy from drowning and retiring from the department, he started restoring headstones of military veterans as a form of therapy for post-traumatic stress. Casey Kennedy served in the Nebraska National Guard. After a 2012 deployment to Afghanistan, she was in a major car wreck with a drunk driver. The driver died following the crash. Almost dying herself from the crash, Casey broke nearly every bone from her pelvis down, had a collapsed lung, and lost over half her blood. The transition back to civilian life was tough, but it resulted in her finding a new passion advocating for veterans in similar situations.
