As good as things have been going for the Orioles, there was always the looming presence of an ownership which didn't seem all that interested in helping take the O's - or their fan base - to the next level. Then, seemingly out of nowhere, along came the news that the Angelos family was selling the team to a group headlined by lifelong fan David Rubenstein.
