Show Notes
If you are a high school shortstop who is drafted in the first round, there are a boatload of expectations immediately placed on you. Just ask Corey Seager. The Dodgers' first-round pick in 2012 made it to the majors in 2015 and never looked back, but it wasn't without plenty of lessons along the way. Seager joins Bradfo to offer perspective for the next crop of shortstops, many of whom are being on to carry their franchises for years to come. Bradfo and Producer Evan also give you a compilation of Draft advice from Grayson Rodriguez, Brandon Guyer, Charlie Blackmon and Triston Casas that should be invaluable for soon-to-be draftees. The podcast finishes off with a conversation with All-Star catcher Jonah Heim on what it's like to be traded, with the 28 year old having been already dealt THREE times.
