This will be the third time James Paxton will be eligible for free agency, and maybe the most unique of all the previous situations. Paxton is coming off an injury-riddled season, making 19 starts for the Red Sox. But all the ailments were to his legs, with his arm (and stuff) holding up throughout the 2023 campaign.
