With the Red Sox' season coming to a close, outfielder Alex Verdugo met with the media prior to Game 162 to answer questions about his 2023 campaign. It was one that started with some much promise, but tailed off with Verdugo experiencing a couple of benchings, various injuries, and life as rumored trade piece. Verdugo - who is entering a contract year - also talked about having to deal with some off-the-field issues.
