When you’re hurt, slandered, or misunderstood, your faith may be tested. The Prophet ﷺ faced constant rejection and insult, yet Allah reminded him: what’s beyond your control was never yours to carry. Your duty is effort, not outcome.
Ustadh Nouman reminds us that tawakkul isn’t passive, it’s action and then surrender. It's doing what's in your hands, staying patient, honest, and steadfast in worship then letting go. You stop chasing revenge, stop demanding results, and say with peace: He knows. He’ll handle it.
That is the peace of mind that comes with trust in Allah. The freedom of true faith.
