Myf and Zan are back after a break and catching up on the last two weeks of music, art, life and stuff. A lot has happened. Split ups, bears in Japan, brush-turkeys at Myf’s house… The writers strike has ended too, but one star broke early and the backlash against Drew Barrymore’s decision to return to work has been sizeable. Meanwhile Rolling Stone co-founder Jann Wenner has decided that if you’re not male or white you’re not a master, and all those covers and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame history is starting to make sense. One of the biggest stories of the past fortnight has been the allegations against Russell Brand. We take a look at the media culture, and complicity, surrounding it all. And the reason women often stay silent. And it’s September which means FARSHUN.
