Bakersfield residents receive extended time to comment on proposed sewer rate increases due to a mailing glitch. Around 30,000 out of 100,000 accounts missed the initial Proposition 218 notice. Two public hearings are scheduled for April 22nd and May 13th. The error, caused by a computer issue, affected zip codes 93311, 93312, and 93313.
