Show Notes

58 days, 12 hours, 30 minutes. That's how long it took for Intrepid 232 to row across The Atlantic 🚣

Not only did this crew of four mums from Jersey complete what has been dubbed 'the world's toughest row', but they broke the world record to become the oldest female four crew to row across an ocean.

In this episode, reporter Kelly Frost speaks to Helene Monpetit, Rosemary Satchwell, Alison Smithurst and Julie Brady, whose ages add up to that special 232, to discuss the highs and lows of their incredible feat, from rowing through calm waters at night to unpredictable weather patterns which brought them to a standstill in those final weeks.
