Rugby and mental health are two things that rarely appear in the same conversation – but one rugby player who recently retired is seeking to change that.
Guy Thompson began his professional career with the Jersey Reds and has played with top-level clubs like Wasps, Leicester Tigers, and Ealing Trailfinders.
Since 2015, he has been an ambassador for LooseHeadz, an organisation which works to fight the stigma around mental health in rugby. He joined Kelly Frost on the podcast to discuss what challenges players face, especially from a young age, and how he is helping to raise awareness that boys do cry - and that there are people who can help...
