It’s become a comedy, and perhaps for some, a tragedy…but this is one project which really matters. And so far, 10 years on, it is still in very major doubt. When the new hospital review came out, it said the previous plans for Overdale were unaffordable, and using multiple sites was less risky.
Deputy Lyndon Farnham was the one cajoling, persuading, lobbying - doing all he could to get the island’s new hospital-on-a-hill delivered by 2026.
