When 60 French fishing boats arrived in Jersey's harbour to protest their fishing rights it thrust the island onto the frontline of international politics, and right into the middle of the Battle of Brexit.
With the Royal Navy keeping watch, the protest ended peacefully, and may now lead to closer communication between Jersey officials and the Normandy fishers.
