Three reports have been published today arguing the case for using solar, tidal, and wind energy to raise revenue for Guernsey by suggesting ways the island "can exploit their use". The research has found that utilising wind energy is the best way for Guernsey to go, with Deputy Carl Meerveld keen to lead a group of politicians furthering this work. He says it won't cost us anything, and will generate millions of pounds in income, by offering third parties the opportunity to explore the viability of using the seabeds for wind energy production. Here he explains what's been done so far, and what could happen next.
