9:6 - Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:1-7)
Over 700 hundred years before Jesus was born, the prophet Isaiah gave him four names describing the relationship he would have with God's people. The last of these names is Prince of Peace. Real and lasting peace anywhere must have as its foundation peace with God through Jesus Christ.

Peace with God through Christ frees us to possess peace within ourselves, to pursue peace with others, and to promote peace in the world.
