As a dietitian that works with children, I know first hand that nutrition is often overlooked or underappreciated when it comes to children’s mood and behavior. There are so many children with mood challenges, sleep disturbances, food aversions, gastrointestinal issues like diarrhea or chronic constipation that are absolute red flags that something is indeed going on inside their bodies (the mind-body connection). On my first solo episode, I dig deep into the reasons why, despite living in one of the most wealthiest countries in the world, that the majority of our population suffer from so many ailments (diabetes, heart disease, cancer but also insulin resistance, allergies and intolerances, memory fog, obesity, asthma and many other inflammatory and metabolic diseases).
