Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum

E

Hey everyone and welcome back to another episode of B Bin Horror! Today we are covering the 2018 Found Footage Horror movie, Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum. Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum was directed by Jung Bum-shik and is based on a real-life psychiatric hospital in South Korea. We were split on this movie, some of us liked it, some didn't like it and Jaime didn't know how to turn on the subtitles. So yeah, he watched it without knowing anything that was happening. We also heard a story from Brandon about a local legend, Doug tells a story about a spider in his underwear...yes you read that right and Fred mocks Dylan for a mispronunciation. Dylan gets a little frustrated...just a little. Next week we will be releasing Cabin in the Woods and then after that we are going to record episodes that we did before with a new format. We are excited to release these with our new ideas and we hope you enjoy them as much as we do. If you like what you hear please follow us on Instagram and Facebook @bbinhorror. Mars Attacks!

E

Hello and welcome to another episode of B Bin Horror! On today's episode we discuss the 1996 Sci-fi/Comedy, Mars Attacks! Mars Attacks! is based off of a 1962 Topps trading card series, which illustrates a Martian invasion of Earth. The trading cards feature artwork from Wally Wood and Norman Saunders. The movie highlights some of the artwork on these cards and follows a similar storyline. Mars Attacks! was directed by Tim Burton and co-produced by Larry J. Franco. The movie stars Pierce Brosnan (mostly known from Mrs. Doubtfire LOL), Sarah Jessica Parker, Jack Black, Jack Nicholson, Martin Short...you get it, the cast was full of stars. We recorded this episode the Monday after Dylan's wedding, so we talk about different things that happened during it. A couple of highlights was an unexpected guest throwing stuff at desserts and Doug being the only person to get cut off from the bar, also we still don't know for sure if Doug and this unexpected guest wrestled out in the woods. Thankskilling

E

Hello everyone and Happy Thanksgiving! Today's episode is a special one to us because it is the movie that started it all when it comes to us watching B Movies! Thankskilling is written and directed by Jordan Downey and co-written by Brad Schulz. This movie stars Wanda Lust and Chuck "The Dead Body Guy" Lamb. On this episode we discuss the movie a lot more than in other episodes, but don't worry because we go off the rails and talk about people getting pissed on and weird Mormon sex. We also ramble on about luchadors and matadors which we really don't know shit about. We hope you enjoy this episode as much as we enjoy Thankskilling. Sinister

E

Hello and welcome to another episode of the B Bin! First and foremost I wanted to apologize for the audio on today's episode, this was recorded a few months ago and we left the AC on. That is our bad for sure but we hope you still enjoy it.On today's episode we discuss the 2012 Horror film, Sinister. Sinister was written and directed by Scott Derrickson and stars Ethan Hawke, Juliet Rylance, James Ransone, Fred Thompson, and Vincent D'Onofrio. We saw that this movie was said to be the scariest movie of all time, but that is a load of shit. Sinister follows a true crime writer trying to reestablish his success as he moves his family into a house where the previous families were murdered in peculiar ways. Things start getting weird when he finds old movies depicting the killings of families in the attic and before he knows what is going on its already too late for the writer. Most here at the B-Bin, besides Brandon, really liked the film. We loved the eerie home movies but thought the movie would have been much better without the visual images of Bughuul. We discuss what our favorite and least favorite home movies were, how to perfectly cook a human body, what we would do if we were a ghost living in the house and we draw comparisons to Michael Jackson and Bughuul. American Psycho is a 2000 black comedy horror film written and directed by Mary Harron. The movie stars Christian Bale, Willem Dafoe, Jared Leto and Reese Witherspoon just to name a few. We don't start talking about the movie until about 15 minutes into it, instead we talk about Doug's trip to India and how Dylan used to draw dicks everywhere in high school. We then discuss who else could have played Patrick Bateman and do we think everything in the movie actually happened or is it all in his head.
