In this episode of the "Away We Go We Go" podcast, I share a story about a big challenge Jordan and I faced while living in France: getting our French driver’s licenses. It's a very long process and we waited so much to exchange our American licenses for French ones, which led to a series of problems—our car got towed, and we found out our insurance had expired without us knowing!For three stressful weeks, I dealt with French bureaucracy, trying to get our car back. It wasn’t easy, but with help from our amazing friends, I finally got my French license just in time for a trip to Switzerland. We almost canceled the trip, but I’m so glad we didn’t. We enjoyed stunning views, delicious food, and some much-needed time together that really lifted our spirits.If you’re living abroad or thinking about moving, this episode is packed with lessons and relatable moments.
