In today’s Gospel, the Pharisees accuse Jesus and His followers of breaking the Sabbath. God commands us to keep the Sabbath holy and observe the day of rest - but we can only join in that Sabbath rest if we take our Sundays seriously. Going to Mass is not an obligation. It is an invitation to be elevated into the divine intimacy and life of our Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Marcus has more.
