Show Notes
Ray Bradbury famously observed that if you want a society to stop reading, you don’t actually need to burn books – you just need to take away peoples’ interest in them. Multiple studies in recent years show that the majority of American high school and college students are reading at a level far below their grade level. Marcus discusses the importance of reading to a free and virtuous society.
