Jewfish (mulloway) have always been a challenge to figure out and few people are consistently successful at targeting them on lures.
Yamba jewie specialist Mick Leavey is one fishermen who has risen to the challenge. He's spent over a decade chasing jewfish from the rock walls, headlands and estuaries on northern New South Wales.
