Show Notes

Mick Hassett describes slow pitch jigging on the Great Barrier Reef as being like "sticking your hand in the lolly jar with a blindfold on". We could try to focus on a single species, but the fact is that slow pitch jigging is so devastatingly effective (often even more so than live bait) and the species list is so long that you never know what will grab your lure. So instead we've focused this interview on the tackle, the jigs and the techniques for getting the most out of this exhilarating style of fishing!

____________ There is a "PLUS" edition of this episode and it contains probably the juiciest part of the conversation: finding active fish and setting up your drift for best results. Team Doc Lures members are enjoying the extended interview right now, and you can too by supporting the ALF podcast and joining up at https://team.doclures.com ____________
