In recent years Queensland's Sunshine Coast has developed a reputation as something of a mangrove jack hotspot, with a growing band of dedicated, ardent anglers specialising in targeting the species in the many small river and creeks systems of the area.
Dean Jackson is one of those and has put in countless hours homing the skills and techniques required to catch jacks with consistency. In episode 288 he takes us off in search of the mighty red dog in his home waters.
