Lake Purrumbete in SW Victoria is an Aussie salmon fishers dream come true! Stocked at various stages by fisheries with brown, rainbow, brook, tiger and leopard trout, there have also been stockings of chinook and Atlantic salmon In the past.
With sight-cast browns averaging 4-8lb and 10lb models not that uncommon, this is a great place to go and target this awesome freshwater sport fish - and Mark Gercovich tells us how we can get started.
