Jacob Stevens, a former MX and off-road racer, retired earlier than anticipated—a story all too common among professional athletes facing life-altering injuries.
Racing, inherently risky, exposes participants to potential injuries that can be life-changing.
Before relocating to the East Coast, Jacob Stevens competed in WORCS races. After moving, he switched to MX racing, traveling the ATV MX Nationals circuit with his family.
Jacob later returned to the Western U.S., reverting to WORCS racing. This transition involved mastering new machine setups and training routines.
In 2021, Jacob's new professional career gained momentum. However, multiple falls exacerbated his old shoulder injuries. Initially resilient, Jacob faced the reality in 2022 that his injuries were too significant to ignore.
