How you create change or autism with attention online. This is taken from a panel talk at MCM Comic Con London October 2019.
I do lots of advocacy work and helping to change the way people who are uneducated in autism see autism.
This is a big thing for me and what I do at The Aspie World, as people see autism one way and it is actually nothing like what some people perceive it as.
How do you create change for autism? You need attention, when you create attention you create awareness and when you have that you have change and when you have change you have impact.
This is the goal of many advocates and I just think we all need to remember that these are the basics of how to change and make impact on the lives of many autistic people.
