- I am curious about what Jesus called the First Commandment, that is to love the Lord your God with your whole heart, and with your whole soul, and with your whole mind, and with your whole strength. It seems to me to be a selfish God who would actually command his followers to love him. I thought love was something that should be freely given, or it is not real love. Can you explain this from a Catholic perspective?
- If I go to Mass on Sunday at 4PM, does that fulfill my Sunday obligation?

- Should people who are sick, and/or pregnant and nursing mothers, fast and abstain from meat as penance, even if not recommended by their doctors?
