The opioid epidemic is a dynamic multi-layered situation with regulatory changes affecting patients and providers in a variety of ways. Although many regulation changes were designed with the best intentions, unintended consequences have surfaced in acute pain management for pediatric patients. This podcast will discuss some of the implications and safety issues while providing information regarding appropriate pediatric medication therapy.
