Health-system pharmacies must take an active role in onboarding these therapies including evaluating biosafety precautions along the medication use pathway, assisting with the development of infrastructure to administer and monitor these therapies, and identifying the practical and financial implications of these therapies within the health-system. This episode will review organizational considerations and strategies around these novel therapies including complexities and structures of supply chain operations, financial models and impacts, clinical operations needs and planning, and interdisciplinary alignment and collaboration.
