First, Robert shares his evolution as an art collector, acquiring along the way several works by Ed Ruscha, Sol Lewitt, On Kawara, Bruce Conner and others. Then, he offers advice for new collectors that he wished he had received when he first started collecting. Also, Robert gives his perspective on the current state of the art market and reveals some significant buying opportunities that currently exist. Lastly, having lived primarily on the west coast, Dr Shimshak compares the art scenes in San Francisco and Los Angeles to New York City.
