Dr. Jennifer James did her dissertation research on women in the conservation field. This episode, we talk about some of the barriers to upward mobility in conservation leadership roles -- things like subtle gender bias or imposter syndrome. At the same time, Jennifer also saw positive influences that were elevating women in their field -- chiefly mentorship and collaborative relationships.
