But I’m a Cheerleader

In this week’s episode, Sarah and Mary have a special Pride Month episode for you, with a recap of the cult movie classic, “But I’m a Cheerleader.” This movie is the most fun — the only disappointment is in themselves for not having seen the film before now.

Show Notes

This week, in honor of Pride Month, Sarah and Mary recap the cult movie classic, “But I’m a Cheerleader.” From the satire, stereotypes, and sexual innuendos to the star-studded cast (Natasha Lyonne, RUPAUL!!) — this movie is the best. The eyes-wide-open french kissing scene brings back a wave of less-than-ideal memories to Sarah, while Mary is obsessed with the name of the gay bar in the movie and wants to pay homage by getting tee-shirts made. Have a listen and some laughs as the girls share their thoughts on an already hilariously dark movie.
