In my experience, this person usually takes great pleasure in telling you how excellent Dubai is every time you meet them. How many shops there are, the beaches, the buildings, the flights.
"Is it raining in London? Well, here..." Alright, I get it, it's nice!
I've never been to Dubai myself, or the wider Gulf, however, I've always been curious about what it's like to have an Architecture Career in the East.
