The May 30 episode of 'Arabology' highlights the music and career of Lebanese music band Mashrou' Leila whose music style and socially conscious lyrics have reshaped the alternative music scene in the Arab world. Show includes pre-recorded interviews with band members Hamed Sinno and Omaya Malaeb, various songs by the group and commentary by DJ Ramzi.

'Arabology' is a weekly radio program hosted by Dr. Ramzi Salti, Lecturer at Stanford University, which aims at showcasing various cultural productions from the Arab world including (mostly alternative) Arabic music, along with commentary in English. The show also features interviews (in English) with individuals whose work is related to the region. 'Arabology' airs on KZSU Stanford 90.1 FM and streams at kzsulive.stanford.edu
