The Second Episode of the 2nd Season of 'Arabology' (aired April 19, 2012) features Arabic music by Salah Edin Fnaire, DAM, Mashrou' Leila, Darine Hamze, Joubran trio, more.
This episode also features DJ Ramzi's interview with Fadi Quran, a Palestinian Stanford graduate from the West Bank and U.S. citizen whose arrest in Hebron in April 2012 for allegedly pushing an Israeli soldier was caught on tape--causing an unprecedented response at Stanford and eventually securing Quran's release. Interview is played in two parts during this episode with music and commentary in between.

'Arabology' is a weekly radio program hosted by Dr. Ramzi Salti, Lecturer in Arabic at Stanford University, which aims at showcasing various cultural productions from the Arab world including (mostly alternative) Arabic music, along with commentary in English.
