In a shocking turn of events, a Pikesville man, Tyrone Luster, was fatally shot in his front yard after answering a call from his former coworker, Michael Eggleston. Eggleston, a forty-four-year-old, has been charged with the murder. The two had worked together at Kaiser Permanente in Woodlawn. Investigators found numerous unanswered calls from Eggleston to Lusters phone, starting around midnight and ending with a fight and gunfire captured on surveillance video. Lusters wife discovered him wounded, and their two young children were inside the home at the time. Eggleston was arrested after detectives tracked him using phone records and license plate data. He remains in custody without bond, and the investigation continues.
