Show Notes
Baltimore authorities recapture Dana Davenport, a convicted murderer who escaped from custody earlier this year. After a Baltimore Circuit Court jury found him guilty of first-degree murder in 2022, he was sentenced to life in prison plus twenty-five years. However, in March 2023, he walked out of North Branch Correctional Institution and was released on his own recognizance for an unrelated case. The Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services insists they followed all laws and court orders, but Baltimore City Sheriff Sam Cogen wants a full review to prevent future mix-ups. Davenport is currently in custody pending a bail review.
